1. Overview & Dual-Platform Scope
This Privacy Policy describes data handling across CavyLove services, including the CavyLove Website (cavylove-web) and the CavyLove Mobile Application for iOS and Android. CavyLove is the evolved continuation of our companion care project previously published as Guinea Pig Lovers.
2. Cavy Records & Local Data Storage
Your guinea pig profiles, weight logs, photos, and care notes entered in the CavyLove mobile app are stored locally on your device for fast and private access. Local app data may be included in your standard device backup routines (such as Apple iCloud or Google Backup) managed by your device operating system.
3. App Permissions & AI Feature Processing
The mobile app requests device Camera and Photo Library permissions solely to allow you to add cavy profile pictures and capture photos for the Poop Wellness Scan. Photos uploaded for scan analysis and text questions sent to the Dr. Wheek AI Assistant are processed strictly to provide educational analysis and care context, and are never sold or used for diagnostic medical records.
4. Purchases & Subscription Management
In-app purchases and premium feature subscriptions are managed through the official Apple App Store or Google Play Store, with transaction validation handled by RevenueCat. CavyLove does not collect, process, or store credit card numbers or financial account details.
5. Advertising & Analytics Disclosures
The CavyLove website is 100% ad-free and measures performance using privacy-friendly aggregate Cloudflare Web Analytics without tracking cookies. The CavyLove mobile application may display ads served by AdMob. Users can manage ad personalization settings via their device operating system controls.
6. Data Retention & Your Choices

7. Children's Privacy Compliance
CavyLove provides family-friendly guinea pig care information and companion tools. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate removal steps.
