Every guide in our Care Library addresses a genuine daily care job or health observation question faced by guinea pig owners. Topics are prioritized based on veterinary safety impact, dietary importance, and common owner inquiries.
2. Evidence-Based Sourcing
Our care guidance relies on established exotic-pet veterinary literature, published animal husbandry standards, and verified dietary science (such as Vitamin C requirements and continuous grass hay needs). We do not publish anecdotal advice or unverified trends.
3. Review & Verification
Articles undergo editorial review for clarity, factual accuracy, and tone. Health-sensitive topics receive elevated scrutiny to ensure medical boundaries are respected and emergency escalation advice is prominent.
4. Corrections & Update Cadence
When care science advances or an error is identified, we update the published article promptly. Revisions reflect an updated 'Last Reviewed' date at the top of the article.
5. AI & Automation Transparency
Assistance from automated tools or AI model summaries may be used during preliminary research or formatting. However, all published text is reviewed, verified, and approved by human editors prior to release.
